Welcome Lea Homan

On 1/8/09 at 10:45PM Shayne and I welcomed Lea Ashley into the world. She is healthy, beautiful, and perfect in every way. She came into this world 7 days early but was ready to meet her big sister Mya. They are very much alike even having the same exact birth weight of 4lbs 15oz. Shayne and I feel more blessed than words can express. Here are some pictures of our miracle and the big day of our second daughters birth. Putting toys to good use

Since we are all back to work tomorrow we had some serious cleaning to do... I think I am beginning to nest ---I helped direct cleaning today and Mya and Daddy cleaned away---At least Xmas toys are getting put to good use....

"When Elmo grows Up"

Mya last Xmas gift---tickets with Mommy and Daddy to see "When Elmo Grows Up". As expected Mya loved every second of it. Mommy had tears almost the whole time just looking at the joy in her face---not sure if it is the season or all the raging hormones but I enjoyed myself just as much as she did...

XMas Day 2008

After three weeks worth of opening gifts--Santa came to our house and Mya opened more presents from Santa---by XMas she was about done (I am sure this will be last year for this) all she wanted to do was sit in her sleigh and take her time opening them....

XMas Eve 2008

Despite the yucky weather---we packed up and went to Nana's to spend Xmas eve together with our family. We got there early enough for Mya to play with Maura, take a nap, and have dinner with Uncle Maurice, Baba, Maura, and Nana. Later after Santa came Grandpa and Grandma joined all of us to watch opening gifts.....After the some family time Mya got in her Santa jammies and we headed home to wake up for Xmas day in our house.....
